"The power of Facebook making connections easier than ever"
This article is about how the famous social network Facebook has made it easier to communicate and to "get things done" in a faster and easier way. It started off as a site for Harvard students to connect and interact online but it has spread over the last six years were people of all ages have joined and now has over 500 million users, the largest social network known.
"The greatest generation (of networkers)"
The article describes how young teens are becoming "obssessive" to texting and social networking. Texting and social networking has become a large part in our daily lives. A young boy was caught in class texting and when sent to the princibles office, he was caught texting once again while getting punished for texting in the first place.
"This is your space"
This article describes how private and public are blurring together and the young people's privacy are becoming public because of these networks and text messaging. These online networks are growing vastly in a short amount of time.
"Internet strengthens personal ties, pew study finds"
In this article, it is said by Crayton Harrison that these networks are benefiting us by strengthening our skills in all aspects. It has failed to turn us into nerds but its has us learning in different ways that we wouldn't have imagined.

This article describes that it is unknown that social networking is harming or benefiting us. They say that the percent of teens that would usually go to the mall for a date increased 5%; is this harming teens social interactions with their peers?
"Area police use Tweets to alert public"
Police are using Tweets to inform the public in their area of news or important activities that they should be informed about.
