The story behind my choice
The reason why I chose this topic is because I am one of those individuals that are always text messaging and using social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. I even can access these networks on my phone and have notifications sent to me. I read an article in Cheerleader magazine and it was discussing how via text messaging and social networking is causing individuals in society to loose face-to-face interaction. I began to get an interest in this topic and I began to realize how people interact with one another, even me and my friends, using these networks and texting. I don't think how I interact with my peers will change because I don't need my phone and to be on Facebook to have a good time.

ReplyDeleteI really like your topic. Your topic really does realate to mine in many ways. My topic is on cell phones an how they affect teens socially. My topic also talks about how technology is corupting face-to-face conversations and if teens are just using new advancements to their advantage.
